first off, I used a gift card to purchase these and have no complaints considering it wasn’t my money and they are a WAY better look than stock.pros:• for ~$145 for aftermarket headlights, the price is perfect• I love the design, the halo type lights• Obviously they are completely clear compared to my stock housings and WAY brighter as wellCons:• Do not expect perfect fitment. after all, they are after market parts and personally mine have a few gaps between the fender and bumper, but it’s not significant enough to irritate me.• As far as wiring the lights to the connectors, the video from Spec-D Tuning isn’t that helpful. personally, rather than splining the wires from the housing to the connectors, I splined them straight into the plugs already in the housing (AKA I splined the daytime running lights wiring into the high beam connector plug so that I was able to plug it straight into the connector from the car)• as for brightness it’s not what you’re thinking. they are significantly better than stock, but when you think about “LED lights, oooh ahhh”, not as bright as they should be.• more than likely an adjustment will need to be made and due to the positioning of the screws, it will be very difficult to adjust them after being installed. at least it was for me but my civic is an Si so the engine layout is obviously different from base or non-Si model civics• Finally, the “halo” and DRL’s do work, but they are not as good as expected. they are more of a dim ring but they still add a great look to the carThe verdict: great for a simple upgrade, replacement, or facelift with respect to the price. the packaging was pretty nice as well. however, if you are very meticulous or doing a “build” on a car, they are not for you. think about it.
