Had this table for almost 3years now and still really like it, nothing seems to be breaking or warping and the spring mechanisms haven’t needed to be oiled yet either which is surprising cz we use this as a dinner table 4/7nights lolThe instructions are fine, but the parts themselves need to be marked more clearly. By a simple sticker saying “FRONT” or “REAR” on the top, it could have saved me an hour of assembly time! As it was, I had a 50/50 chance of assembling correctly. I chose wrong. It added an extra hour to the assembly to correct.Other than that, it was pretty straight forward, and in my opinion only requires a single person to assemble.Beware some of the mentioned issues are caused by user error not the manufacturer. It is constructed with MDF so be gentle during some assembly steps, and whatever you do make sure you screw things in straight (don't have a bolt going in sideways)Take your time, double check everything and you should have it assembled in around 2 hours.Very nice table. Not hard to put together but you need two people.Great piece , perfect for my needs, assembly could be clearerThe first one came damaged and I had to repack it and returning it. It's heavy, so it was a lot to work. The second one came in good conditions but the quality is poor. While carefully assembling it, the compressed wood started to fall apart and with minimum effort I chipped away a corner of the plastic laminateWASTE OF MONEY. Pieces do not fit together (as pictured). We spent 4 hours of trying to assemble this coffee table. The top doesn’t fit correctly. Item is cheaply made which is why I’m assuming the item is defective. For $169 dollars this was a complete rip off. I’m in the process of taking it back apart and returning it. I’m very upset that I spent hours trying to make this work, don’t waste your time.Very disappointed in this coffee table. The table has horrible instructions to assemble. The overall size was not was I expected even though I measured before buying. I would not reccomend buying this table and if i didn't spend 2 hours assembling it i would return it but since I wasted so much time on it I'm not.
